White / Gray Pumice - Mineralog

About the Product

Pumice is a light-colored, porous, spongy, bubble-shaped, low-density, physically and chemically resistant, glassy volcanic rock formed as a result of volcanic events.

The most commonly found and used type is acidic pumice, which is white, has a slightly  shady appearance, and is grayish-white in color. Its porous structure provides high heat and sound insulation.
